Arc Tool

Use the Arc Tool to draw Arc lines. The Arc Tool will draw any partial circle including quarter and half circles. The arc tool draws lines only. For a filled partial circle, select the Pie Tool.

To Draw a Arc

1. Click the mouse on the Arc tool to select it.

2. The cursor becomes a cross.

3. Place the mouse on the grid where you want the center of the Arc to be.

4. Hint: to line up the Arc exactly on the grid, click on the Snap to Grid Tool.

5. Push the left mouse button down and drag the mouse up. You will see a small Arc "slice". Moving the mouse upward sets the height of the Arc.

6. Release the mouse button. Click the mouse button down again and drag the mouse to the left and down. The further you move the mouse, the larger the Arc "slice" will be.

7. Double click the mouse button to finish.

Hint: To draw pies, use the Pie Tool.
