Alignment Mark Tool

Use the alignment mark tool to place an alignment between two patches. The alignment mark will appear on the patch and templates made from the patch.

To Place an Alignment Mark on a Patch

1. Click the mouse button on the Alignment Tool. The cursor changes to a black arrow with a diamond.

1. Click the mouse on a patch where you want to place the alignment mark. Perfect Quilt places a small black alignment dot.

1. To turn off the Alignment Mark Tool, click on any tool in the Toolbar.

Tip: You cannot move alignment marks. If you put an alignment mark in the wrong place, you must remove the mark and replace it.

To Remove Alignment Marks

To remove alignment marks, hold down the SHIFT key and click on the alignment mark.
