New Border or Sash
When you create a new border or sash design, you must tell Perfect Quilt what size of design you wish to create. What is really important at this time is to get the proportions of the design correct. Once you finish the design and place it into a quilt, Perfect Quilt will squeeze or expand it as needed to fit the quilt design.
You must tell Perfect Quilt what the width and length of the horizontal part of the design should be and also what the width and length (or height) of the vertical part of the design should be. Then, in the drawing space, Perfect Quilt displays an outline of the border design based on those measurements. Your drawing must remain in those borders so Perfect Quilt can correctly use the design later in a quilt. Note: if any of your drawing is outside of those borders, Perfect Quilt will display a warning when you try to save the design.
