Ellipse Tool

Use the Ellipse Tool to draw Ellipses. Ellipses are also called ovals.

To Draw a Ellipse

1. Click the mouse on the Ellipse Tool to select it.

1. The cursor becomes a cross.

1. Place the mouse on the grid where you want the upper left corner of the Ellipse to be.

1. Hint: to line up the ellipse exactly on the grid, click on the Snap to Grid Tool.

1. Push the left mouse button down and drag the mouse diagonally towards the lower right corner to make the ellipse as large as you want.

1. Release the mouse button to finish. When you are done, Perfect Quilt will fill the ellipse with the currently selected fabric or color.
