Use the Equilateral Triangle Tool to draw Equilateral Triangles.

To Draw a Equilateral Triangle

1. Click the mouse on the Equilateral Triangle tool to select it.

1. The cursor becomes a cross

1. Place the mouse on the grid where you want the one corner of the equilateral triangle to be. Hold the mouse button down and drag the mouse from the center point.

1. You can move the mouse around in a circular motion to make the triangle rotate around the corner.

1. Release the mouse button to finish. Perfect Quilt will fill the triangle with the currently selected fabric or color.

Hint: Use the Isometric Grid when drawing equilateral triangles. To line up the triangle exactly on the isometric grid, click on the Snap to Grid Tool.

Hint: To draw right triangles, use the Right Triangle Tool. To draw triangles other than equilateral triangles, use the Polygon Tool.
