How to Browse for Files
Use the File Browser to browse blocks, quilts, etc. in the Perfect Quilt Library. You can also browse Files that you have created. The File browser shows you thumbnails (small previews) of all the files in a folder.
To Browse Files
1. Click on the File Menu and then click on Browse.
1. Select the type of file you want.
1. When you have selected the file type you want, Perfect Quilt will open the "Browse Files" box. This box shows you a list of folders on the left and the thumbnails on the right. Push the slider bar up and down to see more thumbnails.
1. Double click on the folder you want to browse. To open a file, double click on the thumbnail. Or, click on the thumbnail and click on the Open Button.
TIP: To find other folders, click on the "Up one folder" icon. This will take you up one level in the list of folders. For example, to go from the Applique folder to the Four Patch folder, click, on the "Up one folder" icon. This will take you to the parent "Blocks" folder. You can then locate and click on the Four Patch folder.
TIP: You can use the File Browser to add blocks to a quilt. Just click the right mouse button on a block in a quilt and select Browse Blocks. To add borders or sashes, right click on the a border or sash in a quilt. Select Browse Blocks and you will automatically go to the Border or Sash Browser.
