Block Wizard: Grid Tab

Note: The Block Wizard and the Screen Settings Wizard are the same wizard.

In the Grid tab, you can set up your drawing grid to draw blocks. You can select a grid type, (see below for more information on all the grids), a grid color and a screen background color.

You can save your grid settings by clicking on the Save Button before you click the OK Button. Clicking the OK Button will set up the drawing grid on the Work Area.

Solid
Circle
Eight-Pointed Star
Isometric
Custom
No Grid

Change Grid Color

You can change the color of the grid to any color in the Color Palette.

1. Select Screen Settings from the Options Menu. Click on the Grid Tab.

1. Click on the Grid Color Button. You will open a new window displaying the current Color Palette.

1. Click the mouse on any desired color in the palette. Preview your change in the Screen options preview box.

1. Click the OK Button to return to the Work Area. Click the Cancel Button to cancel the grid color change.

Screen Background Color

You can change the background screen color of the Work Area to any color in the Color Palette.

1. Select Screen Settings from the Options Menu. Click on the Grid Tab.

1. Click on the Screen Color Button. You will open a new windows displaying the current Color Palette.

1. Click the mouse on any desired color in the palette. Preview your change in the Screen options preview box.

1. Click the OK Button to return to the Work Area. Click the Cancel Button to cancel the screen color change.

TIP: To save your screen and grid color change, click the Save Button. When you close Perfect Quilt, your selected screen color will be saved.
