Patch Guidelines

The Patch guidelines are extra-heavy grid lines that help you set the size of your block. You can set up a nine-patch, four patch, five patch, etc. blocks with Patch Guidelines.

To Set Patch Guidelines

Set the Patch Width and Height by clicking on the up/down arrows. Set the number of patches by clicking on the up/down arrows at Patches Across and Down. You can make rectangular blocks by turning off the Keep Proportions box.

You can change the color of the Patch Guidelines by clicking the Guideline Colors box. Select a color and then click OK.

To make the guidelines display over the block, click the Guidelines Display Over Block checkbox. Click this box when you want to make a block with Rotary Cutter Tool. See the Perfect Quilt User Manual for directions.

To show the Patch Guidelines when you exit the Block Wizard, click the checkbox at Show Patch Guidelines.

Click the OK Button to set up your grid and Patch Guidelines. If you want to save your settings for the grid and Patch Guidelines, click the Save Button before you click the OK button.
