Grainline Tool

The Grainline Tool will add grainlines to any patch on the drawing area. You can add grainlines to patches on the drawing area. You can also add grainlines to patches within the Template Wizard.

To Add Grainlines

1. Open a block or draw patches

1. Click on the Grainline Tool. The cursor becomes a cross.

1. Draw a grainline on the patch.

1. To delete a grainline, select the patch(es) you wish to delete grain lines from, and select Delete Grainline from the Effects Menu.

Note: When you click on another tool, the grain lines will disappear. If you want them visible all the time, select Show Grain Lines from the Window menu.

Note: Once you have drawn a grainline, you cannot move it, you must delete the grainline and draw a new grainline.

Note: The grainline is a double arrow.
