Pie Tool

Use the Pie Tool to draw Pie patches. The Pie Tool will draw any partial circle including quarter and half circles. For a "line only" partial circle, choose the Arc Tool.

To Draw a Pie

1. Click the mouse on the Pie tool to select it.

1. The cursor becomes a cross.

1. Place the mouse on the grid where you want the center of the pie to be.

1. Hint: to line up the pie exactly on the grid, click on the Snap to Grid Tool.

1. Push the left mouse button down and drag the mouse up. You will see a small pie "slice". Move the mouse upward to set the height of the pie.

1. Release the mouse button. Click the mouse button down again and drag the mouse to the left and down. The further you move the mouse, the larger the pie "slice" will be.

1. Double click the mouse button to finish. When you are done, Perfect Quilt will fill the pie with the currently selected fabric or color.

Hint: to draw arcs, use the Arc Tool.
