Polygon Tool

Use the Polygon Tool to draw polygons. The Polygon Tool is an "all purpose" tool that can draw any shape that does not have curves.

To Draw a Polygon

1. Click the mouse on the Polygon Tool to select it.

1. The cursor becomes a cross.

1. Place the mouse on the grid where you want to start the polygon.

1. Push the mouse button down. Drag the mouse to the second point of your polygon. Release the mouse.

1. Push the mouse button down again and drag the mouse to the third point. Release the mouse.

1. Continue pushing, dragging and releasing the mouse until you have created the polygon.

1. To finish the polygon, double click the mouse on the last point.

1. Perfect Quilt will fill the polygon with the currently selected fabric or color.

Hint: To line up the polygon exactly on the grid, click on the Snap to Grid Tool.

Hint: to change the shape of a polygon, use the Reshape Tool.
