Preview Templates

Perfect Quilt can preview your templates before you print them. The template preview displays the templates exactly as they will print on the paper. The template preview also displays a small thumbnail of the block (or border or sash) and places letters on the templates.

To Create a Template Preview

1. Open or create a block, quilt, border or sash.

1. Click on the File Menu, then click on Templates. The Template Wizard appears.

1. Follow the instructions in the Template Wizard.

1. On the last page of the Wizard, click on the Preview Button.

1. You can move the templates by clicking on the patch. Next, drag the template into position. You can also flip and rotate templates.

1. Save the template preview by clicking on the File Menu and then click Save. Then click on Save. Saving the template preview is optional.

What can I do with the Template Preview?

• You can arrange the templates by moving, flipping and rotating them. For example, you can arrange the templates so that they use less paper when they print.

• You can add text to the templates for notes or instructions.

• You can select and export templates to other programs.
