Print Foundations

1. Open or create a foundation block.

1. Click on the File Menu and then click on Print Foundation. The Foundation Print box opens.

1. Select the finished size of the foundation block.

1. Select the number of copies to print. Perfect Quilt will tell you how many blocks will fit on a page and how many pages you will need to print the blocks.

1. Click on the Print Button. Perfect Quilt will print the foundation blocks with numbers and seam allowances added.

Foundation Print Options

Flip Horizontal and Flip Vertical: Flips the block either horizontally or vertically.

Mirror for Iron On: Prints the block and the numbers backwards so that you can print the block on iron-on transfer paper.

Print Numbers: When this option is on, numbers print. When the option is off, numbers do not print.

Thick Lines: When this option is on, Perfect Quilt prints the foundation block with thicker lines. The default setting is hair lines.

Draw Dashed Lines: Select this option to draw dashed lines as the seam allowance. The default is dotted lines.

Pause Between Pages: Pauses the printer between printing pages.
