Print Size Options

The following options will determine the size of your printout. You can only select one size setting at a time. Select the size option you want by clicking on the option.

Actual Size: Check Actual Size to print a block or patch the same size as it appears on the screen at 100% Zoom. For example, if a block is 3" x 3" on the screen, it will print 3" x 3".

Fit-To-Page: Fit to Page will fit every patch or block that is in the Work Area onto one sheet of paper. All patches or blocks will scale up or down to fit. Use Fit-to-Page to print quilts.

Scaled Print: You can tell Perfect Quilt to print a block or patch larger or smaller than it's actual size with the Scaled Print Option. To scale larger, click the arrow up. To scale down, click the arrow down. Scaling is expressed as a percentage of the block or patch's actual size. For example, 200% is twice as large as actual size. Perfect Quilt will tell you the size of the printout.

Specific Size: Choose Specific size to print output at the exact size you wish. Select the height and width of the block (or patches) you wish to print. Check the keep proportions box to keep the horizontal and vertical measurements the same. You can print the block or patch the exact size you need without having to re-size the block in the Work Area.
