Quilt Wizard: Size Tab

The Size tab is where you determine the size of your quilt and how many blocks it will have. As you change the size of the quilt, Perfect Quilt will report the current size and will change the preview quilt.

To Create a Custom Sized Quilt

You can create a custom-sized quilt by changing the block count and block size.

Block Counts: Set the number of blocks across and the number of blocks down. You can have up to 200 blocks across and/or down.

Block Size: Set the size of the block. For rectangular blocks, turn off the "Keep Proportions" box. You can then set the vertical and horizontal sizes independently.

To Create a Standard Sized Quilt

Perfect Quilt has a set of standard size quilts, such as crib, queen, king, etc. To create a standard sized quilt, first set the size of the block and then select the standard size from the pull-down menu. Then, click the Calc Size Button. Perfect Quilt will set the block count to make the quilt the standard size you requested. Please note that adding a border or sash will make the quilt larger and you will need to allow for this when you create a standard sized quilt.
