Rectangle Tool

Use the Rectangle Tool to draw rectangular patches.

To Draw a Rectangle

1. Click the mouse on the rectangle tool to select it.

1. The cursor becomes a cross.

1. Place the mouse on the grid where you want the upper left corner of the rectangle to be.

1. Hint: to line up the rectangle exactly on the grid, click on the Snap to Grid Tool.

1. Push the left mouse button down and drag the mouse diagonally towards the lower right corner to make the rectangle as large as you want.

1. Release the mouse button to finish. When you are done, Perfect Quilt will fill the rectangle with the currently selected fabric or color.

Hint: Use the Square Tool to draw squares.
