Use the Triangle Tool to draw Right Triangles.

To Draw a Right Triangle

1. Click the mouse on the Triangle Tool to select it.

1. The cursor becomes a cross.

1. Place the mouse on the grid where you want the center of the triangle to be. The center is where the two right angles of the triangle meet.

1. Push the mouse button down. Drag the mouse from the center point.

1. You can move the mouse around in a circular motion to make the triangle rotate around the center.

1. Release the mouse button to finish. Perfect Quilt will fill the triangle with the currently selected fabric or color.

Hint: to line up the triangle exactly on the grid, click on the

Tool.

Hint: to draw triangles other than right triangles, use the Polygon Tool. To draw equilateral triangles, use the Equilateral Triangle Tool.
