Print Templates for a Quilt

The Template Command opens the Template Wizard. The Template wizard creates templates from blocks and quilts.

To Create Templates from a Block

1. Open the block you want to make templates from.

1. Select Templates from the File Menu.

1. Perfect Quilt will open the Template Wizard.

1. In the Wizard, you will select the Template size, the patches to print and the seam allowance. Follow the Wizard to print your templates.

1. When you are finished with the Wizard, you can print or preview your templates.

To Create Templates from a Quilt

1. Open the quilt you want to make templates from.

1. Select a block in the quilt that you want to print templates for. You can also select a border or sash.

1. Select Templates from the File Menu.

1. Perfect Quilt will open the Template Wizard.

1. In the Wizard, you will select the size, the patches to print and the seam allowance. Follow the Wizard to print your templates. NOTE:Changing the size will mean the templates won't be correct for your quilt. We recommend not changing the size when printing templates from a quilt.

1. When you are finished with the Wizard, you can print or preview your templates.
