Round Arranger

The Round Arranger arranges patches in a circle. Use the Round Arranger to create appliqué blocks. You can also use the Round Arranger to arrange pieced blocks.

To Use the Round Arranger

1. Create the patch or patches you want to arrange.

1. Select Round Arranger from the Effects Menu. The Round Arranger box opens.

The Round Arranger box shows you a preview of your block and has the following options:

Size: Sets the distance from the center point to the patches. The smaller the size setting, the closer the patches are to the center of the block.

Radials: Sets the number of patches. For example, when you set radials to 5, you will have 5 patches repeating around the center.

Offset: Set an Offset value to arrange the patches from vertical and horiztonal.

Angle: Setting the angle determines the angle of the patch to the center. For example, at the 90 degree setting, the patches may all face the center. At the 180 degree setting, they may face away from the center.

Rings: Use this setting to add up to 3 rings of patches around the center.

To Create a Block

When you have finished playing with the settings, click the OK Button. Perfect Quilt will create a new file with your newly arranged block. You can now save the block.

If you want to start over, close the open file to return to your original patch. Then open the Round Arranger again.
