Ignore Grouping

The Ignore grouping command temporarily disables grouping of patches so you can select or paint one patch that is part of a group without having to completely ungroup the patches. Ignore grouping is useful if you want to paint just one or two patches in a group.

To Turn on Ignore Grouping

Select Ignore Grouping from the Effects Menu. As long as ignore grouping is on, you can paint, select, move, flip or rotate individual patches in a group. When ignore grouping is off, the entire group will paint, flip, rotate, etc. together as before.
