You can create a range of colors with the Color Grader. The color grader creates a set of colors between two colors that you select. For example, you can make a set of colors between red and green. The Color grader can make interesting colors and it saves time because you can make many new colors without having to edit each color individually.
To Open the Color Grader
1. Click the right mouse button on any color swatch in the palette. A menu appears.
1. Click the Left mouse button on Edit Color. The Edit Color box appears.
1. Click on the Gradations Tab. The Gradations box appears.
To Use the Color Grader
1. Select the starting color in your range by clicking on the top Select Color Button. Next, click on a color in the palette. The color sample will appear with the RGB and HSL values.
1. You can change the color you just picked by clicking on the Edit Color Button. Make your changes. Click the OK Button to return to the Color grader. Or click on the Gradations Tab.
1. Select the ending color in your range clicking on the bottom Select Color Button. Next, click on a color in the palette. The color sample will appear with the RGB and HSL values. The two colors can be any number of steps apart in the palette.
1. When both colors are selected, click the Grade Colors Button to create the range of colors.
1. Repeat steps 1-3 to change the colors again.
1. Click the OK Button to close the Color Grader. Save the Color Palette.
