Short Diamond Tool

Use the Short Diamond Tool to draw short diamonds. Short diamonds are also 60 degree diamonds.

To Draw a Short Diamond

1. Click the mouse on the Short Diamond Tool to select it.

1. The cursor becomes a cross.

1. Place the mouse on the grid where you want the one corner of the short diamond to be. Push the mouse button down. Drag the mouse from the corner.

1. You can move the mouse around in a circular motion to make the short diamond rotate around the corner.

1. Release the mouse button to finish. Perfect Quilt will fill the short diamond with the currently selected fabric or color.

Hint: Use the Isometric Grid with short diamonds. Use the short diamond to make Baby Blocks or Tumbling Blocks style blocks. To line up the short diamond exactly on the grid, click on the Snap to Grid Tool.
