Snap to Grid

Use the Snap to Grid Tool to snap patches to the grid.

To Snap Patches to the Grid

1. Click the mouse button on the Snap to Grid Tool. When this tool is pressed down, Snap to Grid is on.

1. Any patches that you draw, move, or stretch, will snap to the grid.

1. To turn Snap to Grid off, simply click on the Snap to Grid Tool again.

TIP: Use Snap to grid to precisely line up patches in pieced blocks. Turn off Snap to Grid for appliqué and quilting stencils.

What is the Grid?

The grid is a series of intersecting lines that work like graph paper. You can use the grid lines as a guide or snap the patches to the grid. Perfect Quilt has several different drawing grids. See Screen Settings for more information.
