Snap to Point Tool

Use the Snap to Point Tool to snap patches each other. Actually, this tool snaps patches to the points of each patch.

To Snap Patches to Each Other

1. Click the mouse button on the Snap to Point Tool. When this tool is pressed down, snap to point is on.

1. Any patches that you draw, move, or stretch, will snap to the nearest point on an adjacent patch. You can also move a patch's points to line up with the points of a patch.

1. To turn Snap to Point off, simply click on the Snap to Point Tool again.

TIP: What are points? Points are the little black boxes on each patch. You can see a patch's points when you use the Reshape Tool.

TIP: Use Snap to Point when you want to snap patches to each other, not the grid.
