Square Tool

Use the Square Tool to draw square patches.

To Draw a Square

1. Click the mouse on the square tool to select it.

1. The cursor becomes a cross.

1. Place the mouse on the grid where you want the upper left corner of the square to be.

1. Hint: to line up the square exactly on the grid, click on the Snap to Grid Tool.

1. Push the left mouse button down and drag the mouse diagonally towards the lower right corner to make the square as large as you want.

1. Release the mouse button to finish. When you are done, Perfect Quilt will fill the square with the currently selected fabric or color.

Hint: Draw a square diamond: To draw a diamond: move the mouse horizontally to the left, then release the mouse. This will create a square (or diamond) that has been turned 45 degrees.
