Magnify Tool ![]()
Use the Magnify Tool to "Magnify" or enlarge an area of the screen.
To Magnify a Patch
1. Click the mouse on the Magnify Tool. The cursor changes to a magnifying glass.
1. Drag the mouse around the patch (or patches) you want to magnify. Perfect Quilt will draw a "box" around the patch. The smaller the box , the more you will magnify the patch.
1. Release the mouse and the patch will be magnified.
TIP: To return to "normal" view, click the Zoom Out Tool as many times as you need. You can also click the right mouse button and select Actual Size. This will take you to 100% zoom.
TIP: Perfect Quilt gives you other zoom settings for convenient viewing of your work:
• Fit to screen: Fits all the patches on the screen.
• Actual size: Returns the viewing percent to 100% zoom.
To change the view, click the right mouse button anywhere on the drawing screen and select either Fit to Screen or Actual Size.
TIP: To choose a specific zoom size, click on Zoom To in the Window Menu. Then, select the zoom percentage you want.
