Open File

Use the Open File command to open blocks, quilts, etc. that are in the Perfect Quilt Library. You can also use this command to open files that you have created.

To Open a File

1. Select Open from the File Menu.

1. Select the type of file you want. See file types for an explanation of the various file types.

1. When you have selected the file type you want, Perfect Quilt will open the Open File box. Double click the folder you want and then click on the file you want.

1. Click on the Open Button. (Or, double click on the file.) and Perfect Quilt will open the file.

TIP: To find other folders, click on the Up one Folder icon. This will take you up one level in the list of folders. For example, to go from the Applique folder to the Four Patch folder, click, on the Up one Folder icon. This will take you to the parent Blocks folder. You can then locate and click on the Four Patch folder.
